Quest Global was a silver-level sponsor for the 22nd ISABE Conference (Oct 26-30). The International Society of Air Breathing Engines is an organization formed to further the free exchange of knowledge in the field of airbreathing propulsion for flight vehicles. The Society organizes a major conference every two years with invited lectures, contributed technical papers, – arranged sessions, special forums and social events for informal discussions and networking.
This year’s event was hosted by our strategic customer Honeywell in Phoenix, AZ, and was attended by more than 250 participants from OEMs (Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation), engineering services (Quest, Belcan), research bodies (NASA, National Research Council, Canada), academia (Ohio State, Cranfield), tool vendors (3D Systems) and others, with presentations from 250 authors from 24 countries.
The theme of the event was Affordability, Profitability, and Environmental Compatibility, with an in-depth look at the key industry developments, evolving trends and critical challenges that need to be addressed in the fields of
Quest was represented by David Hill, our Strategic Client Partner for Honeywell, and Christopher Wisse, the solution leader for Engineering Process Services. David came to Quest having long served with Honeywell. Christopher has 20+ years of project management and engineering services development experience. Quest customers such as Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Airbus and GKN Aerospace were key contributors, highlighting technical innovation and their vision of the future of aviation propulsion. Global aviation is growing rapidly, but the industry is being challenged for improvements in safety, efficiency and environmental impact. Quest stands ready to help our strategic clients meet those needs. OEM engineering will draw on its years of expertise to clear the technical hurdles that await.
